LOC 2026 is a public hub and listening space for information on the LOC – Loreto Open Community project, a winning project of C40 Reinventing Cities competition.
On Tuesday 17th January, an official inauguration took place to mark the launch of LOC2026. LOC 2026 hosts public meetings & workshops on the LOC - Loreto Open Community project and provides a space to listen to the community and learn more about the project.

LOC strives to be a manifesto of sustainability, climate service and support for biodiversity: green areas become powerful players in an urban reforestation process.
The project transforms a heavy traffic roundabout into a place dedicated to low-emission mobility and intermodality. It creates 24,000 square meters of public space, with 69% of the project surface dedicated to public areas and integrates a multilevel green square with an urban forest of 300 trees.
The winning project aims to be completed in time for the Olympics in 2026! More information on the project can be found here.
