Seeing the teamwork of the students and the creativity of their ideas is inspiring and will enable real, positive, grassroots change.
Since January 2023, students across seven cities all over the world dedicated nearly 100,000 hours to urban innovation—that's the equivalent of more than 11 years!
Schools have designed more equitable and sustainable cities and addressed unique challenges in their home cities - ranging from protecting biodiversity to revitalising high streets, advocating for sustainable mobility and more. Mayors are taking notice of students' ingenious solutions and considering ways to transform their visionary ideas into real-life initiatives.
