Training for participating teams

As part of the Students Reinventing Cities competition, C40 and its partners offer a technical training to support participating teams in developing their proposals.

What will the training cover?

The training will focus on the Green and Thriving Neighbourhoods Principles, which form the basis of the evaluation criteria for submitted projects. It is designed to help teams better understand expectations and strengthen their proposals accordingly.

Who can participate?

The training is open only to teams that have successfully registered in Phase 1 of the competition. Please note that Phase 1 deadlines may vary depending on the site.

How to access the training

The main point of contact for each registered team will receive an official email from C40, including:

  • details about the training
  • the link to join

The main point of contact is responsible for sharing this information with all team members. If your team has registered and you have not received this communication, please contact us.

When will the training take place?

Two sessions will be offered. Participants may choose the session that best fits their availability:

  • Option A: Wednesday, 22 April, 4:30–6:00 pm (GMT)
  • Option B: Thursday, 23 April, 1:00–2:30 pm (GMT)

The training will be fully virtual via Zoom.
