The Biennale Architettura, now in its 19th edition, is a prestigious international event curated this year by world-renowned Architect Carlo Ratti. Attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors, the Biennale remains a cornerstone of global discourse on architecture and urbanism, with a strong focus on sustainability and social equity.
In collaboration with La Biennale and key supporters, C40 is hosting a half-day event on May 28th to bring together Deputy Mayors and City Leaders from over 15 European cities - including Athens, Copenhagen, Lisbon, London, Milan, Paris and Rome - to explore new ways to build, plan, and design cities that are more resilient to climate change, the housing crisis, and modern challenges. Through high-level discussions, the event will foster meaningful dialogue to advance climate-responsive urbanism and architecture. The event is a unique opportunity to network with key stakeholders and representatives working in European cities as well as an occasion to visit the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia.
